In this episode, we talk about Mortal Kombat 2 and Supergirl before technology reminds us who's really in charge. We explain what happened at the end. We accidentally discovered that hitting "record" and staying recording are two different things.
Enable ourselves.
SPEAKER_00We are on. We're recording. What it is. Alright. We got some. We were already having a conversation. We got some new mics. Uh, so had to get all that going. We're good to go. Alright. Yep. Now, what was we talking about? Wrestling.
SPEAKER_01Oh. Oh, oh, yeah. Just wrestling.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Your your buddy that likes wrestling. Oh. Phones are not on vibrate. That's my bad.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. Mine, mine stays on. Oh. You know, that's funny. Mama just texts me and she was like, like, I don't know why she wants to send me a picture of a filet mignon.
SPEAKER_00Look what I'm eating.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I was like, Yeah, I've I want that too.
SPEAKER_01I want to buy it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Baked potato. It worked. You made me, you made me hungry. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01All right, well, shoot. We ain't did the podcast in it seems like forever.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Three weeks. Yeah, three weeks. We usually go every other week, just three weeks. But that means we got some stuff to talk about. Mm-hmm. So, uh, let's say first things first what we've been talking about on this podcast. Guess who people finally saw Mortal Kombat 2? We did.
SPEAKER_01Both us.
SPEAKER_00At the same time, together.
SPEAKER_01So, uh Yeah, let's go Mortal Kombat first.
SPEAKER_00Let's revert, let's review that one first. I'll let you start.
SPEAKER_01Um I just call it like I said. It was not the first one. I I still liked it. I liked the movie, but I it it wasn't as good. It wasn't as good as the first one by any measure.
SPEAKER_00I'll agree with that.
SPEAKER_01But I mean, I'd watch it again. You know what I mean? Like seeing I I have to watch it with Jed anyway.
SPEAKER_00I bought it on Amazon, wasted my money, but nah. Uh I really didn't care for it. But this is why. I think because I've heard some people like who really like it seen some comments online where people really like it, and those are the people that are a lot younger than me didn't grow up with it, and they're taking it for what it is. It's a comic book. Yeah. I mean, not comic book. I mean, I'm not it's a video game movie.
SPEAKER_01I don't think it should is uh, you know, it deserves any kind of award or anything.
SPEAKER_00But for some reason in my brain, I didn't like it because I think like I can picture a Mortal Kombat movie that is in complete seriousness, like John Wick level like the uh the web series, Mortal Kombat web series legacy. Yes, that yeah, like that was like I just feel like it could be serious, really serious.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it could definitely be rooted, rooted more.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so I know that's kind of just that's more of a personal taste, that's what I well.
SPEAKER_01I mean, we get to say we get to have that, you know, kind of snarky opinion because we are the Mortal Kombat generation.
SPEAKER_00Like And unfortunately, I know I've I love Mortal Kombat so much in elementary school and I grew up with it that like I know the lore and the stories, and I'm just I'm too close to it, too close to the source material to I didn't like like Mortal Kombat 1 left a bad taste in my mouth because I didn't like how well it it teetered on the edge of what this movie just fell into. Well, immediately off the bat with Mortal Kombat 1, Scorpion is the good guy and sub Zero is the bad guy. That's wrong. That's not straight straight off, straight so you started off wrong to me, so the whole movie in my brain is is playing a catch-up or a fix it.
SPEAKER_01I know it's like Ed Boone didn't have any kind of say so in this movie at all.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And and Cole, there's no reason for him.
SPEAKER_00No, there's that's why he died in part two. Spoiler alert.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Jet, spoiler alert. Yeah, he's I I don't know like why he was the the proverbial glue that held the storyline together. Like it could have been it could have been they could have just taken a story from any one of the games.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Like or what about this? What if they kind of Marvel Cinematic Universe does? So let's start off. Let's just have a Sub-Zero movie. Sub-Zero and Scorpion, their dynamic, their relationship, a really detailed thing on how on their rivalry, you know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah, make you care.
SPEAKER_01While their clans hated each other.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. With came with hints and stuff, and maybe this could be before Mortal Kombat happens. Maybe Mortal Kombat could be the Avengers event.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because I'm not really even sure like why there is a Mortal Kombat other than the fate of Outworld versus our world. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_00So let's go back to where I think the best medium today would be like an HBO Max level TV show. We keep saying it. So there it is. Flush it out. So let's flesh it out. So now we have Mortal Kombat, the TV show, but season one is is as main characters, it's for the most part Sub Zero and Scorpion. You're gonna have some episodes that maybe set up Luke Kane. Just tell you some backstory. You know, season one has to uh make you care about people first.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you gotta get attached to the character before.
SPEAKER_00And maybe season one would end with Raiden showing up. And then in season two, everybody's like, oh, they're getting they're gonna have to do the tournament season two.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then when they get to the tournament, you start you and you just slowly trickle. You can have four seasons until you release a Mortal Kombat 3 level roster. You know what I'm saying? There's so much to play with, like slow burn the story. Oh, yeah. Literally heroes the story.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Cause that's how it how it's I think that is how you you do a show with all these different people.
SPEAKER_00Because Game of Thrones, it has a massive amount of characters, and you know, you have to be paying real good attention all these medieval names and clans and seeing this could be the same way, make it give it rewatchability, yeah. Make it better the second time. Yeah, because you gotta get all these little details. Yeah, it just takes the right.
SPEAKER_01But whoever made these movies, these last two movies, they can't have anything to do with this.
SPEAKER_00No, and nothing to them if because it's it's the tone they were going for.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I like the first, I really like the first one. I've seen it ten times at least.
SPEAKER_00But there's nothing wrong with that. I still like the 90s version, and it's honestly trash as a movie, but it's my childhood.
SPEAKER_01That's like when we were watching it, I go, This this is like annihilation.
SPEAKER_00Like, why is it MK2 was not annihilation bad, but it was it was Mortal Kombat 2.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like I've said this to you all fair. Uh it's like they were just trying to jam the characters in there, and nobody nobody really did anything but fight.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly. And the the Johnny Cage Baraka fight, and what they did to Baraka kind of just that's corny to me, man. Yeah, that's corny. Because he's uh he should be serious, he should be a killer, straight, straight monster.
SPEAKER_01That's what I always thought he was.
SPEAKER_00They turned him into what they turned him into.
SPEAKER_01Comedic relief.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, that's not Baraka.
SPEAKER_01They turned him into um Korg, you know, yeah. From Thor?
SPEAKER_00I swear to God, I was gonna say that. And I didn't. I chose to go somewhere else because I didn't know Korg's name. I was gonna say that rock guy from Rock Thor. I promise. I promise I was gonna say that. Yeah, they turned him into Korg, which I love Korg. Oh, he's hilarious. Yeah, he's gonna be a good thing.
SPEAKER_01He adds to Thor, actually. Hey, all good, mate. Yeah, that uh come join us over here. That South African, because that's somewhere between South African and New Zealand accent. I mean, I know it's Takawatiti, so it's New Zealand, but he's uh South African sounds like you're like getting punched in the stomach when you're talking. So it has that has that uh that Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees.
SPEAKER_00I totally know what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, Justin Timberlake style.
SPEAKER_00Uh, but let's go to uh kudos to the director for this Mortal Kombat, though, because I've never seen a more perfect Sonia Blade than whoever this actress was that was Sonia Blade. I mean, she's so Sonia Blade. Yeah, she's like so Sonya Blade that like Sonia should just be her model like Tony Stark is uh Robert Downey Jr., even in the comics, kind of. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01Because she's so good at it, she she exposes Veronica Vaughn for Yeah, Veronica Vunn. I used to think, oh yeah, she's a good, she's a good Sonya Blade.
SPEAKER_00No, no, she's number two.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she's sacking, definitely.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, good Sonia. The worst Rhonda Rousey.
SPEAKER_01Um what's that lady's name? Betsy. Up nope, Betty Gilpin. Do you know who Betty Gilpin is?
SPEAKER_00I do not know Betty Gilpin. She was in um uh As You Talk, I'm gonna IMDB.
SPEAKER_01Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, the show with uh um uh what's her name?
SPEAKER_00Betty Gilpin.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Gilpin, yeah, just like G-I-O-P-I-N.
SPEAKER_00She was in uh The Hunt. I'm looking at a picture and I do not recall her.
SPEAKER_01She if you watch the Netflix show about the you know, I've you'd think I have.
SPEAKER_00Wow. I haven't watched Wow, I haven't watched uh Heels.
SPEAKER_01She's like a um she's like a she always plays badasses. Okay, you know what I mean? Like she's she's tough, like she's like a um uh older Scarlett Johansson type she's I'm looking at her pictures. I don't recall her. I've not watched any of these things. Tough roles and stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh, The Hunt, you should watch The Hunt, it's super good.
SPEAKER_00Is this a picture from The Hunt? Maybe.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, no, that's a picture from a show she was on on Netflix. Uh what was it called? It's a Western show.
SPEAKER_00I got her IMDB. I watched it. Was it called? Uh I can't remember.
SPEAKER_01Hunt Crystal? No, no, no. Some kind of Western uh show. Anyway. Yeah, she's good. Now the hunt. The hunt is like a literally they're hunted. Like this group of people are hunted by these people, and it's like a rich.
SPEAKER_00Is it like that dangerous game book that people have been remaking?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, 100% that. So it's a remake of a Stone Cold movie.
SPEAKER_00So it's a remake of the pest.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's funny. Because that's the really the first comedy take on it, I think.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. What a just hidden gem of the 90s, too.
unknownGolly.
SPEAKER_00I really like that movie. So goofy. I feel like I was gonna look something else up on IMDb, but I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I think The Pest might have been might have been one of the first movies we watched together because you introduced me to it. No.
SPEAKER_00Like Yeah, and I think I wanna I wanna say Clint introduced me to that like when it came out way back in the day.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, what didn't I mean '92 or three or something?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I just so happened to be right here, 1997.
SPEAKER_01Oh, seven?
SPEAKER_00Oh no, then that's a long time ago.
SPEAKER_01We watched it when it came out then.
SPEAKER_00At least that year. I didn't go to the theater.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I didn't I don't I remember.
SPEAKER_00I didn't know it existed until it was already out on the room.
SPEAKER_01You watched it in the basement on VHS, I believe. No, maybe in the living room, because there wasn't no basement then. It was goofy. All right. Let's get down to the nitty-gritty.
SPEAKER_00I know what you're ready to talk about.
SPEAKER_01It's fresh on my mind.
SPEAKER_00Supergirl. Sorry, I always got supergirl on my mind.
SPEAKER_01Now for real. Subgirl. That's what I say. That's what I say in that the the promo advertisement where she's in front of Supergirl the word, like, and just says, Supgirl. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So, okay. You want me to go first on this one?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, first on Mortal Kombat. Rattle it off.
SPEAKER_00On a scale of one to ten, I'm gonna give it a nine. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00I went into it with no expectations. Not for I wasn't expecting it to be the greatest superhero movie I've ever seen. I and I just so happened to myself just really love like Supergirl is my favorite, probably my favorite female character. Oh, for you know, the character, you know, not not not Allie, but just that character. Uh yeah. So I went into it just knowing I'm gonna enjoy this. And I already heard uh James Gunn enough to say it's gonna be like Guardians, it wasn't gonna be on Earth.
SPEAKER_01So I that's what I thought too.
SPEAKER_00I knew that.
SPEAKER_01I knew it wasn't gonna be that we getting a little space western.
SPEAKER_00I'm so glad it was that because it set it, it set the tone and flow so differently from Superman. So it wasn't just a copy and like a rinse and repeat of Superman.
SPEAKER_01Right, but and I think that's what because I stay away from anybody's reviews of a movie I want to watch because I'll decide for myself.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But you know, you have to come across some things randomly, and I just see people say that it sucked, and I'm like, okay, these people don't know who Supergirl is. They're expected Superman.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And they don't know, you know, anything about Supergirl, Supergirl, or her whole lore. Yeah. Like she's not she's not Clark Kent.
SPEAKER_00She's a completely different individual. They're different.
SPEAKER_01I mean, we can definitely go into that.
SPEAKER_00Different rules, different different uh yeah, uh approaches to life, views on life.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Superman, he holds back, he hold he's calculating, yeah. He's gonna hurt you and stop you, but he's not gonna kill you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So he's always pulling his punches and not well, like she's like Kara said in the movie, and I don't think this is this ain't spoiling or nothing. When she was just talking about Clark, and she said his heart is light. He hasn't he hasn't dealt with nothing. No, no trauma. He sees the good in everybody, and she sees the truth because she's dealt with loss, her kind of you know, crap life. I kind of like how she put that.
SPEAKER_01It was it was funny because in the theater, this just like reaffirms what I just said. This uh older lady brought her two grandkids, and they were had to be, you know, like five and three or something. And as soon as they walked in, I said, Oh no. 20 minutes maybe, they was out, they're gone. I was like, Yeah, they don't know. They thought this was a kid's movie. This is not a kid's movie.
SPEAKER_00Oh no, no, no.
SPEAKER_01And that's why I think it gets people saying it sucked.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I think I almost think like the comments that I'm reading when people saying it sucked, and even the TikTok people where they're, you know, just giving their review. I'm like, why are these people going into this movie wanting it to be the greatest superhero movie they've ever seen? Or expecting or expecting, yeah, like something that Tarantino would do. You know, it's this this great cinema. What I here's what I think I said this to my dad earlier. I think something happened with the people who were kids during Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight. That perfect demographic. I don't I think Christopher Nolan might have messed messed their brains up in the sense that those movies are so good and on such a scale that they want superhero movies to be that, and James Gunn is more like making a comic book movie.
SPEAKER_01And that's what that's what I want because I go to the movies to get lost in the movie.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's what I loved about Superman.
SPEAKER_01Uh the one before this, it was the first comic book movie.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was the first when I say the first, it was the first comic book movie I saw where I felt like it was a comic, like colorful and light in what Superman is. And I liked all that about it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the Superman cartoon.
SPEAKER_00No, it's not the Henry, he's not Kenry Carvell, but what other human can be? Come on.
SPEAKER_01Come on.
SPEAKER_00Let's just don't even start that.
SPEAKER_01If we're talking about Henry Capell, he about all the other things he does doesn't hit, you know. No, but he's Superman. Witcher hit good, but um Gentlemen Warfare and those other few movie movies he did were like flops, really.
SPEAKER_00I I only know him as Superman.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah. No, I I know him uh Immortals. You remember Immortals? It was uh it was a 300 shot and looked like 300. Okay. Ringing a bell, I don't think I've ever seen it. Uh what's his name? Heracleon or whatever. I don't know. He was in like he did that in Superman right like in the same year, I think.
SPEAKER_00Okay. But he'll always be Superman. Oh yeah, yeah, he'll be Superman forever. Yeah, just like Hugh Jackman Twolverine. It just is what it is. Typecast.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I want to talk about, I got a few ideas about after doomsday too. But anyway, Supergirl. Supergirl, yeah. I thought I thought the same thing. I was like, this is a it's slow, like I want to see some. I was never bored. I know I wasn't bored. I kept sitting up. Like every time I was like I sit up and I'm I'm into the movie, and then I have to like sit back a little bit. But I thought uh it told the story good of it gave you it, it gave like people that might not know Supergirl a good base overview of her. And why she has the attitude she does. And uh so I really liked it. But and I like that they didn't overuse Lobo. Yeah, like he was just kind of barely in it, just pep pampered him in there to introduce him.
SPEAKER_00It was a good introduction.
SPEAKER_01Because I know how much he loves that character.
SPEAKER_00Do we know? I don't know the little girl. It does she become a character, do is she something in the comics? Do you know? Uh uh-uh, I don't know either that I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I have no idea. I don't know like if she's a Cole type character.
SPEAKER_00Hey, I don't know if she's supposed to grow, if she grows up to be somebody, is kind of like that. I mean, she's already looking she's got purpose.
SPEAKER_01She's a warrior at heart, so yeah, she could be something. I have no idea. She could. Did you think there was a um end credit scene?
SPEAKER_00No, because I already Googled it. I'm too seasoned of a movie theater person.
SPEAKER_01We didn't Google it because we just tried to see it.
SPEAKER_00I'm like super girl. Post-credit scenes? No. I'm like, all right, we ain't got something.
SPEAKER_01We Googled while waiting, yeah, because everybody got up and left except for you know, maybe a handful of people. And me and Annalie and Aaron and Jack, we all went and watched it. So we're sitting there, and as we do, like when we're waiting on an in credit scene, we're looking for the goofiest names that we can find in the credits. And uh finally I'm like, is there an in credit scene? They're like, there's always an in credit scene. And we no, there's not. And right before that, I said, What if we sit here the whole time and There's not one. That's it.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Well, just so uh There's not one. Just put this in your brain. Because when I Googled it to see uh what I read when it told me no, it went on to say that James Gunn has said in an interview already, there will never be because their movies aren't gonna interconnect. He said he don't want to be he don't want to be held down to that kind of writing style and writing scheme. I respect that. Yeah.
unknownHmm.
SPEAKER_01All right, I can dig it. Yeah. But I don't uh I don't really know that villain. Like he seemed, you know Creese?
SPEAKER_00Cream? Cream. No, I didn't know him at all.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we could have done without that.
SPEAKER_00Cream. Crease? I think it's Crease. No, but I mean that's Cobra Kai, I think, but John Creese. John Creese. Anyway, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there, I mean, it wasn't uh to me, it was a little, you know, space western kind of.
SPEAKER_00It's just a straight good movie. Just decent. Put it on.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't have any, I have zero complaints.
SPEAKER_00Yep, I like it.
SPEAKER_01Uh the kids laughed at me because the only thing that I can say is that the choice for the Jimmy Eat World song. Uh I can't decide if I didn't care for it or if I just loved it, because I never heard that version before. That and it's it's weird to take that song and make it the tone that the lyrics are actually, you know what I mean? Like because the song is, hey, don't give up yet. You're in the middle of this, like, and but you know, Jimmy World's just playing as faster, and they slowed it down, and then you like really listen to it. You're like, do I hate this?
SPEAKER_00And you're talking about it, it just takes some time. The middle. Yeah, see, I've heard a TikTok somebody cover, you know, but way but I'm talking about years before this probably 2001. I have before before Suno, before AI music existed. Just talking about 2001. I mean 21, 22, maybe.
SPEAKER_01Like I think I read it. Right after cover.
SPEAKER_00I've heard somebody play it on piano. This girl, she was just like, when she was, she would just like like ding. Hey, the rest of it. Don't cry yourself, but but don't cry yourself up, yeah. And like, man, though, it's almost like gut-wrenching lyrics when you break it down.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it is. And like it really hits different.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I kind of like it.
SPEAKER_01And I was singing it, and then they started.
SPEAKER_00But going back to the movie, uh, me having seen it Friday, I forgot. I didn't, I forgot that song was even in the movie. And even I think yesterday I was uh thinking about the movie, and I was talking to Shree, and I said, James Gunn, he didn't put a song in that movie. Meaning, when I think of Superman, because you're a punk, Rocco, yes, I am. Like, so there's a link. There's no there's there was no theme Guardians of the Galaxy. There was no theme, song, no music, no theme song for uh Supergirl for me. Like, so that song didn't stick. That the Jimmy World you're talking about. So I don't think that was in the place of that.
SPEAKER_01That's what I think why I can't decide if I liked it, because they chose that as the the like emotional part of the movie. Yeah. I I don't know. I can't. I'm still thinking about it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, just to think about it. I'll definitely be watching this movie again. I usually watch these movies again.
SPEAKER_01It's been like you know, two hours or three hours since I've seen it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Still pretty much.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I've marinated on it for a little bit. Yeah. I saw it Friday morning.
SPEAKER_01I like the I like the version of that song, but I don't know if I like the choice. Cause it doesn't like it does fit, but it don't fit.
SPEAKER_00I'd have to see Cedar Town. I'm not seeing a scene at all. I need to see the scene again before I can really analyze.
SPEAKER_01And I was singing it. So Yeah, yeah. In the theater. But we just went to Cedartown, so it wasn't there wasn't a whole bunch of people. Maybe maybe 30. We went last night too. We went last night to the mystery uh horror movie.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay. And is that like at 10?
SPEAKER_0110 at night.
SPEAKER_0010 o'clock, yeah. What was it?
SPEAKER_01Army of Darkness.
SPEAKER_00Nice. And never saw that one in theater. I've never saw that one in the theater.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, that's from the 80s, you know. Sam Raimi, Spider-Man, Sam Raimi, Evil Dead.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Ash. So Jet was like, that was the stupidest movie I mean, he didn't he didn't mean it like, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I was like, I told him all. I said, hey, as soon as it came on, I was like, oh snap. Jet said, what is this? I said, uh Bruce Campbell's greatest work. And I said, this is a goofy movie. Like it's a goofy, scary movie. It's not scary at all. Like, and you know, it's a like a literally scary movie, type of scary movie.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And we sit there and watch the whole thing. It's just funny. It's free. You know, I went when they were on vacation, I went, but it was Repo Men, the operatic version of Repo Men. And I got up and I just went home. Yeah, I was like, no, I'm not doing that. All I bought was this cherry coke. I was just, I'm out. No popcorn? Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00You don't like popcorn your teeth.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's no.
SPEAKER_00I got to have the popcorn. I I'll even have uh toothpicks in my pocket because I'm ready.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I'll eat a handful, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00But that's I'm good. I'm gonna refill. I'm I'm gonna need a refill. I honestly.
SPEAKER_01We were looking at their buckets, they don't have any like what any of those weird buckets. Yeah, any of the good ones. Themed, themed, regular popcorn buckets.
SPEAKER_00The super girl one looks stupid. The one I seen. It's got it's like the cup is her suit, and then it's like she's got her trench coat, but the trench coat's undone, and it honestly looks like the cup's just shedding its foreskin.
SPEAKER_01Whoa.
SPEAKER_00It's not good. I'm a snag.
SPEAKER_01Nigga little snug.
SPEAKER_00Going back to Supergirl, let's be uh let's be guys for a minute. Because I see a lot of people talking junk about Allie Milcock.
SPEAKER_01I I watched her in House of the Dragon, and she was a little girl.
SPEAKER_00So I mean she was way cuter in that than Supergirl, but I also seen an interview where she wanted Cara to look busted up and drunk and like she was going through it, so she was like way less makeup, and she had like dental work that she had reversed just for this role.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she did have uh I sucked on my thumb when I was a baby. She had some chompers. But I'll really I was about to be real general. I didn't mean that. I'm gonna go ahead and say this.
SPEAKER_00I don't think she's ugly, and sometimes I think she's really cute. But for the most part, I mean she ain't she's like a she's not like oh my god, she's so fine.
SPEAKER_01I don't I yeah, I don't want I want Wonder Woman to be fine.
SPEAKER_00Which I know beauty is you know all relative and oh no, I like all right.
SPEAKER_01Well, I know that just ended very abruptly.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. See, um, just so you guys know, the computer's behind me now. Uh and we've just been talking away, and we did not notice that during where during that supergirl conversation that the podcast quit. So there's about 30 minutes you guys are not gonna get.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's just it's in the in this room.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and you so um, and we can't you won't hear this because this part didn't get recorded when we ended the podcast. We were talking about how this studio uh at the moment doesn't have AC and it's you know fixing to be July in Georgia, and it's really hot in here. We've been going for a little over an hour, and uh it's really hot, so we're uh we're not gonna sit here and keep talking. It's done. Sorry. So we will, since it's been so long since an episode, maybe we can come back next Sunday, hit y'all with another half hour episode, maybe something real quick. But uh, we'll try to do that for y'all since this one had technical difficulties. But we are so sorry, but we're still gonna give you what we got, and we love y'all for sticking with us. For sure.
SPEAKER_01Love you.
SPEAKER_00Love ya. All right, we're gone now for real.
SPEAKER_01Is it still recording? Still recording, it is still recording.
SPEAKER_00We got it, all right.
